Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, the Guard and AgentGovern services, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) operated by Ahmed Khan, trading as Zirahn (“Zirahn”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing zirahn.com or using any Zirahn service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms, and agree to comply with them.

2. Description of Services

Zirahn offers two services, both run from the dashboard at agentgovern.zirahn.com:

• Guard checks each tool call your coding assistant makes against your policies before it runs. Depending on the policy, the call is recorded, warned about or, where the policy is set to Enforce, blocked. If AgentGovern doesn’t answer within 5 seconds, the call goes ahead without a check. A call AgentGovern couldn’t evaluate is marked “Evaluation Failed”. Guard works with Claude Code today, in the terminal and the VS Code extension. It is not built for CI or GitHub Actions.
• AgentGovern is a compliance-as-code platform that:
  • Instruments AI agent pipelines via SDK integration
  • Evaluates agent actions against the EU AI Act policy pack
  • Generates audit-ready compliance evidence and reports
  • Records each policy violation with its regulatory reference. AgentGovern does not guarantee that any action by your AI agents will be stopped, blocked or altered.

3. What Guard Does Not Promise

Guard reduces risk, but it does not guarantee that every risky tool call or secret is detected, warned about or, where a policy is set to Enforce, blocked. If Guard cannot reach our service, it fails open: the tool call proceeds and may not be recorded. Policies on Guard Free warn or record by default; none blocks until you set it to Enforce.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
• Use the Services to store or transmit malicious code
• Resell or sublicense the Services without our written consent
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content
• Create accounts automatically or in bulk, or create several free accounts to get around a plan’s limits
• Use the Services in a way that tries to degrade them for others, or to probe or attack them

Free plans are subject to fair use, as described in section 7. Zirahn may suspend or remove free accounts that break these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

Zirahn and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the Services, including all software, documentation, and content. The Python SDK is an MIT-licensed SDK on PyPI. It is licensed separately, under the MIT license: see https://pypi.org/project/agentgovern/.

Your data remains your property. You grant Zirahn a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Services.

7. Subscription and Payment

Pricing

Current pricing is available at zirahn.com/pricing/. Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes.

Guard Free

Guard Free is our free plan. On Guard Free:

• Allowance. Guard Free is for one registered developer and includes 10,000 Guard checks each calendar month (UTC). A Guard check is one tool call that Guard evaluates before it runs; prompts, replies and results are not counted.
• After the allowance. Once the allowance is used, until the first day of the next calendar month (UTC), Guard operates in critical-only mode. It continues to show the warnings of the rules Zirahn designates as critical, which concern commands that can destroy data or infrastructure. It stops showing other warnings, though an occasional warning may still appear during the period. Every warning, shown or not, continues to be recorded in full, as does any action blocked by a policy you have set to Enforce. Zirahn stops keeping the details of actions that were allowed until the allowance resets.
• More developers or members. Registering a second developer, or adding a second member to the account, requires a paid plan.
• Usage emails. The account’s admins get an email at 50%, 75%, 90% and 100% of the monthly allowance.
• Fair use of storage. Each account may store up to about 2 GB. Above that, the full details of allowed actions are not kept.
• No service level. Guard Free has no uptime commitment (SLA).

Upgrading

To go beyond Guard Free, use Upgrade in the dashboard (Settings → Usage) or contact us at [email protected], and we will follow up. Upgrades are arranged on request; there is no online payment.

Changes to plans

We may change our plans, including Guard Free and its allowance, or stop offering a plan. Changes to these Terms follow section 15.

Payment

Paid plans are arranged on request. Their price and billing terms are agreed in writing before they start.

Cancellation

You can stop using Guard and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We delete your data on request, within 30 days. After that, copies can remain for a limited time: in our database backups for up to 30 days, and in our service and error logs for up to 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically. If you are on a paid plan, you may cancel it at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

8. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to keep the other’s confidential information confidential and not to disclose it to third parties without consent. This obligation does not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.

9. Data Processing

Zirahn processes data from your AI agents solely to provide the Services. We act as a data processor under applicable privacy laws. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request.

Retention. Inputs and outputs, up to 25 KB each, are kept for 90 days unless your organization’s admin sets a different period. If PII redaction is on for your organization, a redacted copy of the full inputs and outputs is kept until your account is deleted. A one-line summary of each action, up to 200 characters of the command, file path, URL or search, or the first 97 characters of a prompt or reply, is kept until your account is deleted. A secret cut off by that limit may not be recognised.

Acceptance of these Terms. When you accept these Terms at sign-up, we store the time you accepted them.

10. AI Act Compliance Disclaimer

AgentGovern is designed to help organizations achieve compliance with the EU AI Act and other AI regulations. However, Zirahn does not provide legal advice. Compliance determinations are the sole responsibility of the customer. We recommend consulting qualified legal counsel for regulatory compliance matters.

Compliance scores and reports in the dashboard measure your recorded actions against our policy packs. They are not a certification or a legal assessment.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZIRAHN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zirahn and its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice for material changes. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
